John Goley died in El Dorado, Tues. His sons Rufus and Weley went to El Dorado, Wed. morning to take the remains to Perry', Okla., for burial. Undertaker C.R. Alger went along to care for the body. John Goley was an early settler in this locality'.

T C ('Dode) Goley Dies At Hospital In Newkirk, Oklahoma
T C Goley, 80 year old pioneer o Perry, Oklahoma, died recently in i hospital at Newkirk, following an ill ness of 18 oaths.
Mr Goley formerly lived at Douglas in early days. He worked for Georg* Osborn when a young man. His fa they, John Goley, had a store years age near Rose Hill.
The Perry Journal says of Mr Goley:
“The elderly man was well known ir Noble county and had served on the Perry board of education for several
years.
“He came to the Perry area at the opening of the Cherokee Strip, homesteading a farm a mile east of Perry. In 1941 he retired from the farm and moved to Perry.
“Goley was born December 6, 1869 in Noblesville, Indiana. He married Ida Renfro at Douglass, Kansas, November 1, 1898. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services were at Perry, with Rev David Thomas of Stillwater, officiating. Burial at Perry.
.“Other than his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs I L Sherman, Braman;'t Mrs G A Springer, Enid; Mrs John Ingersol and Mrs T D Morgan, Bartlesville; four sons, Ralph, Enid ; Harold, Kansas City; Wilbur, Enid; and Leonard A Goley, Perry; also
five sisters, Mrs Anna Young, Roswell,
